Me + 1 LF active clan

Hey, Me and my mate are both in our 30's looking for a mature active clan. We have been playing games for about 12 years mainly MMORPGs where we either ran or were officers in PvE & PvP guilds. We also ran a raiding clan on RUST for a good few years. We are looking for somewhere to call home in this game as we only recently picked it up about a week ago and we are completely hooked on it. So I came across you guys and here i am posting on your forums lol. Not sure what else you would need for me to say here except I'm Scottish and he's English. Regards, Tantal
  4. CJTF2 ArmA III Milsim Community Hello everyone! Some of you may already know me if you are part of the EFT scene here a BTF, but if you don't then I am Santiago and the main reason for me making this post is to try and recruit some of you into an ArmA 3 Milsim Community that I am helping to get started. As it currently stands, I am the Infantry Commander, and I need people to fill all sorts of roles, there be it from the Platoon Sergeant, Squad Leaders all the way down to Mortar Men. Even if this doesn't appeal to you straight away, I would say come over and have a chat with me and take a look around and if you are still not interested; by all means pop smoke. Brief Description CJTF2 focuses on Air and Infantry orientated Operations, utilising both air asset and infantry assets to complete missions. The infantry operates in Squads split down into fireteams that can work together or with split objectives. We focus heavily on Special Tactics, including High Altitude drops, to approaching from the water and assaulting during the night. We have 3 branches that operate together, The British SAS, Canadian CSOR and American SFG. We have excellent Pilots working with us, active serving soldiers and veterans to the Arma series. The following roles are available for filling: Platoon Sergeant Squad Leader Fireteam Leaders Medics JTAC Sharpshooters/Snipers Mortar Teams Pilots (Fixed Wing / Rotary) Operation Times: 6PM EST / 11PM BST/GMT Every Saturday Discord Link: Join the Combined Joint Task Force 2 Discord Server! - https://discord.gg/phMtcAW Once in the Discord you should see a channel called recruitment, all info is there. Any questions, feel free to message me here or on Discord. Santiago#1770

    Anthem

I don't think it's doing as well as it should have been after six years of development.
  6. I know a lot of you have probably done tons of raids in other games and some of this might be a bit basic for you. Still feel it is quite key to just get these basics out there for those that might be quite new to it all, Positioning and Planning. Good idea to work out who has what in terms of skills for your team build. We are still working out what works best of course but having a couple of turrets and someone healing helps a lot. Squad formation can help quite a lot in most fighting areas. I tend to have one person right and one person left covering those sides and 2 in the mid with one of those being the sniper, we can mix that up quite a bit designating people to cover left and right is a good idea. Avoid bunching up or being too close to each other as you become an easy target for grenades and other explosives to be sent your way. Shouts Shouts are really important to keep short and sharp as possible. If there is a Medic on the right don’t shout, “guy’s there is a medic on the right and needs taking down asap! Oh and he’s half health!” deliver the same info to the team by shouting just “Medic Right” and if you kill the medic shout, “Medic Down”. This will allow things to run smoother when its very hectic. What do we need shouts for? Might need to add more to this as we go on. Medic Drone Flame Thrower = Flamer RCD = Cars 4 leg robot! = dogs Rushers Boss tracked robot = Johnny 5 (film short circuit if your like wut :-p) Snipers Foaming CC = Spunker (holding big junk squirting it all over you rooting you in place) LMG Suppressing = Fister (they have the fist icon and lay down serious dmg to someone being suppressed) Hunter = Hunter If your dead shout “YourNAME Down” This will allow things to run much smoother when its very hectic. If our 4 man squads are well drilled with good communication and basic positioning, when 2 squads team up for a raid all this will help us in a big way :) Also please give your ideas and suggestions, this is not set in stone and a working project for us the whole clan to contribute towards.

Good Morning I am wondering if you have space available in your clan Currently i am in a clan but that all the other members have gone inactive and I am the only one left that actually play the game so starting to look for other solutions. I am GS497 and working on my build at this moment of time. If i am not playing games i am working but work unusual hours (12am-6am) and if not playing games or working i am normally out doing photography, mostly at the weekends and is mostly Motorsports. I did play TD1 solo and burned myself out of the game rather quickly so i am trying not to make the same mistake again

  12. Escape from Tarkov https://www.escapefromtarkov.com/ You may be asking.. what is it? Well it is a first person shooter with survival elements including food and drink with loot and a persistent stash. A game where things such as drinking and eating and proper healing of a broken leg or bandaging a bleeding wound can mean the difference of leaving with your loot or passing out or being chased down due to an untreated leg wound. A game where the armor you wear and the bullets you fire will dictate the fights you are likely to win. A game where every item has a real world equivelant and functions and looks as realistic as possible. A game with customization like no other where you have a choice of optics and attachments (based on real life equipment) to truly make your gun yours. Communication is key, there are many different pieces of gear from tactical rigs with different uses and storage capacities to helmets that allow attaching of flashlights and night vision to bullet resistant visors. This gear will set you apart from others and provide utility so choose your kit wisely. Alongside call outs of landmarks and locations will mean the difference between a team-kill or a perfect outplay on an an enemy squad. As a community we will need to learn the maps and call outs and exercise trigger discipline. Be able to identify friend from foe. Select squad leaders, experianced or level headed soldiers who will keep others on mission and together. Work together to educate ourselves and anyone who joins us on how we operate as a community and how to improve at the game. Think of Tarkov as The Division 2 Dark Zone, you enter via the gate and its you or your squad vs. everyone in the area. There are NPC patrolling alone or in groups and loot to be found scattered around you don't know who will help you or kill you and if you die you lose your loot Where Tarkov differs here! It is played in first person! There are no name tags or easy ways to identify your friends aside from any hats or armbands you put on before the raid (this is not foolproof). You need to manage your equipment manually from first aid and morphine to reloading the empty magazines for your gun with bullets and being aware of gun jams from low quality or broken gear. When you die you lose everything including the gear you went into the raid with and you cannot respawn!! This is a thread designed to gauge interest, over the coming days i will be expanding by adding guides and other content to hopefully encourage a conversation. Alongside creating a recruitment post hopefully with banners and formatting so we can pull in members independently. If Escape from Tarkov sounds like a game you would like to get involved in you can purchase a copy of the game here. https://www.escapefromtarkov.com/preorder-page I will happily answer any questions regarding which version of the game is best for you from discord! Good luck Get ready to escape!

  14. Some information on Dark Hours, The Division 2's first raid: From vg247.com: More details about The Division 2’s first raid, Dark Hours, have emerged. Kevindavid40, the same Reddit user responsible for datamining early Dark Hours raid mechanics and details has returned to offer The Division 2 players another round of findings. The first major leak is a mechanic called PowerPlay, which awards players with powerful boosts. To unlock a PowerPlay, players must complete secret objectives like finding hidden rooms and killing specific NPCs. These elite enemies don’t always spawn, and when they do, players only have a limited window to take them out before they vanish. The powerups they drop can only be used in the raid, and they have other limitations as well. Dark Drinker restocks Signature Weapon ammo, Dark Devourer allows for infinite usage of skills for a limited time. More interestingly, certain PowerPlays spawn the help of Hunters – the ultra-challenging enemies hidden in The Division 2. As previously revealed, the raid’s first encounter takes place on the Arlington Memorial Bridge, and all eight players must cross it to start the raid. This particular encounter, according to the leak, disables all use of skills, so you’ll have to rely on weapons and equipment. https://www.vg247.com/2019/04/01/the-division-2-dark-hour-powerplay-mechanics-encounter-design-leak/

    Clan Challenge

I want to set a little task for the clan which i feel is good training/preparation for raids and a great way for you get to know some more of your clan mates in discord and doing missions. You have to be in a full clan team, complete a 4 man mission on hard without anyone downed! Once complete you will Obtain the Clan Distinction Commendation. You can wear it as an arm badge :-) This is not no elitist test and no one is going to kick you or think anything less of you if unable to complete. Maybe some of the more experienced members can help you out and give advice/pointers about your game play / build. Good luck all!
  19. The Division 2 maintenance and patch notes Agents, good news! We have identified several issues that were causing skills to immediately destroy themselves and go on a 15 second cooldown. Our development team has been hard at work during the weekend and throughout today to find a fix for those problems. We will be able to solve most of these occurrences with the brief maintenance today, March 18th at 10:15 PM CET / 5:15 PM EST / 6:15 AM KST / 8:15 ACT. The servers will be down for approximately 15 minutes and you should encounter these issues way less often from this point on. The team is continuing their work to resolve all the remaining issues on this topic with a future patch later this week. Until then you can try to avoid the talents EXTRA and OVERLAP which seem to be the culprit and can cause skills to act up even after maintenance, albeit still much less often. We want to thank everybody for your continued reports, your feedback and most importantly your patience. The health of the game continues to be our highest priority! 22. The Division 2 maintenance and patch notes Our development team is hard at work to create a patch that will address several issues that have been highlighted by our community. As with all things in game development, a stable patch can take some time and we appreciate all of your patience, as well as the continued feedback and the detailed reports we are receiving. This helps us immensely in prioritizing workflows and making sure that the biggest issues are dealt with quickly. We announced an unscheduled maintenance yesterday and the planned patch is now nearly ready to be deployed, it includes the following bug fixes: Fixed an issue where players could be stuck in the wrong World Tier if they completed Strongholds without meeting the required Gear Score while in a group Fixed an issue where players wouldn’t be able to talk to agent Kelso at the Castle Settlement Fixed an issue where players could obtain multiple Ivory Keys from the same source On top of that we’re hoping to include the following fix into that same patch and are confident that we will be able to push it live tonight. Fixed an exploit that allowed players to loot Supply Drops multiple times Lastly, we are working very hard to address the crashes that are occurring and seem to be related to the Assault Drone being used while agents are in a group, as well as Skills not working properly and immediately being on a 15 second cooldown. This means we might apply further patches over the weekend and will need to have unscheduled maintenance during that time. We know that everybody wants to get a lot of playtime in during their days off (and believe us, we too), so we will try to keep the downtimes to a minimum. Thank you! /The Division Team View more information via The Division 2 forums by clicking here.
  23. The Division 2 maintenance and patch notes Head's up, Agents! We're performing a quick server restart in 30 minutes. Expected downtime is approximately 5 minutes. View more information via The Division 2 forums by clicking here.
  24. The Division 2 maintenance and patch notes Weapons We removed a work in progress weapon that was not properly named and balanced. Crossbows now deal explosive damage to multiple objects as intended Exotic weapons equipped with silencers will now produce the sound they’re intended to make. NPCs engaged in combat will now react to grenades as intended. Missions The ropes will now deploy properly to allow for extraction at the end of the Beekeeper Jeff side mission. Players should no longer be able to unlock Castle prematurely. This issue would block progression in some instances. Fixed a loot exploit that involved repeatedly killing bosses in some Invaded missions. In Jefferson Plaza, the NPC scene can no longer be interrupted during a boss fight. PC specific PC players playing together while connected to the same network were meeting a number of issues when interacting with each other. This has now been fixed. On PC, FreeSync 2 HDR can now properly be selected in game regardless of your PC’s configuration. Other Weapons skins will no longer disappear if attached to a weapon and sold to a vendor. Stopped "SHD CPU V.2" and "Cyclone Magazine" skill mods from dropping as loot. Player's who already have the items can use them once they unlock the corresponding specialization perk. Players will no longer get stuck on black screens after watching introduction cinematics. We have updated XP rewards for all end game activities, so that they will scale to the player’s level, instead of being flat values. Several corrupted audio issues have been fixed.
